Marcella Wainscott

April 6, 1930 — February 25, 2017

Marcella Clifton Wainscott,86, of Independence , Kentucky (formerly of Owenton, Kentucky) passed away on February 25, 2017 at Woodcrest Nursing Home in Erlanger, Kentucky.
Marcella was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Bethany High School. She had worked at McDonalds and Wagner Electric in the 80's, and as a cafeteria worker at Beechgrove Elementary in the 90's. She enjoyed playing Rook. She was a member of Beechgrove Baptist Church in Independence. Marcella was a seamstress, and she loved camping and the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milford Wainscott; parents Beckham and Nellie Clifton; sisters Alma Hart and Louise Madrowski; brothers James, Billy, Albert and Fred Clifton; and step grandson CSM Wayne Fausz.
Marcella is survived by a daughter Pamela ( Dave) Fausz of Independence; sons M. Steven Wainscott of Jonesville, KY and Greg (Renee Chandler) Wainscott of Independence; brother Marvin Clifton; granddaughter Ashlee Landrum of Elsmere; step grandson David Fausz of Mesa, AZ and great grandchildren Kryton, Dillon, Alissa, Porter, Nate and Autumn.
The Visitation will be on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 1 pm until the Service at 3 pm. Interment will take place on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 am in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
