Margaret McHargue, age 85, of Independence, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. She was a retired Supervisor and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Her husband, Robert McHargue, preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ann (Dan) Daniels of Walton; sister, Dolly Qualls of Hendersonville, TN; (3) grandchildren, Rebecca Gambrell of Independence, Christy Hooper of Murfreesboro, TN, and Chris Daniels of Independence; (6) great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6th, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Online condolences may be sent to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
