Marion Drum

September 4, 1919 — July 25, 2014

Marion Drum, age 94, of Silver Grove, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 3:50pm in his home to join his beloved wife, Anita Drum, in heaven. He was a proud WWII Veteran and devoted member of the Silver Grove Christian Church. Marion is survived by his loving family: sister Marjorie Tanvas; son Randy (wife Patsy) Drum; daughters Adella (husband David) Jones, Grenda (partner David Johnson) Sanders, Diana (husband David) Estes, Renee (husband Rick) Beach, and Denise (husband Glen Hofmann) Fuqua; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorials suggested to either of Marion's favorite two passions: Silver Grove Christian Church, 122 W. 2nd Street, Silver Grove, Kentucky 41085 or the Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, August 1 from 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2 at 12:00 noon followed by a military honors burial at 1:00pm in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
