Marion Racke

April 21, 1934 — October 20, 2008

ALEXANDRIA - Marion Racke, 74, died Monday, Oct. 20 in Cold Spring. He was an electrician at Mill Wright, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Alexandria.
His wife, Alice Racke, died previously.
Survivors include his daughters, Melinda Fetters of Alexandria, Marian Winkle of Alexandria, Dorothy Baker of Mt. Olivet, Brenda Racke of Alexandria and Vickie Creamer of Frankford; son, Merril Racke of St. Bernard and John Racke of Dayton; brothers, Freddy Racke of Chicago and Herbie Racke of Florida; sisters, Ruth Combs of Florence and Edna Tolan of Minnesota; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Cooper Funeral Home, Alexandria. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at Cooper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
