Marlena McElfresh

Marlena Gail McElfresh, 43, passed away on December 23, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. She was born on November 5, 1974 to Kenneth Holliman and JoAnn Sword. On May 27, 2006 she married Jeff McElfresh. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Marlena is survived by her husband, Jeffrey McElfresh; mother JoAnn Sword; children Tyler (Kursta) Moore, Bradley Moore, Jordan Moore, Alexa McElfresh and Macy McElfresh; grandchildren Jada Moore, Trenton Moore, Cayden Moore, Ava Moore, Kensley Moore, Sophia Moore, Landon McElfresh, Brennan McElfresh, Zander McElfresh and Journey McElfresh; sisters Ronnetta Houston, Sonia (Ryan) Brumback, Leanna Holliman, Kimberly Holliman, and Lauren Bedford; brother Kenneth Whittle; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many friends and extended family.
Marlena was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Holliman in 2016 and her step daughter Brittani McElfresh in 2014.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Mercy Church, 2961 Ernst Lane, Hebron, Kentucky, 41048 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. A private inurnment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is assisting the family.
