Martha Jones

Martha M. Jones, 87, of Walton, Kentucky, passed away on January 19, 2018 at Woodcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 15, 1930 to the late Lewis and Opal Miles. In June, 1946 she married Kenneth R. Jones who preceded her in death in 1991. Martha was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family and making sure everyone was well fed. She enjoyed working outdoors, cutting her own firewood for as long as she was able. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Martha is survived by her daughters Frances (Lance) Heinrich, Candy (Adam) Green; grandchildren Toni Harper, Kenneth Cooper, Neil Cooper, Jason Cooper, Robin Cooper, Jack Cooper, Denny Heinrich, Brian Heinrich, Stephanie Schmidt, TJ Burkart, Richie Green and Kristen Green; sisters Imogene Reynolds, Shirley Rinear, Mary Williams; numerous great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by her daughters Juanita Cooper and LaVonne Davidson; granddaughter Donna Sue and sister Wilma Salyers.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Joseph House, 1526 Republic St., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
