Marvin Hansan Price Jr.,

72 of Independence, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marvin served his country in the United States Marine Corps where he retired after 24 years as Master Gunnery Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he worked as the Facilities Manager at Calvary Baptist Church for 23 years. Marvin enjoyed playing guitar and being a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Benita Price. Also surviving are his children Carri (Michael) Childress-Bentz, Brian (Angela) Sharp, Tom Sharp and April Price; grand children Brady, Riley, Gavin, Blake, Tylor, Andrew and Eva; great grandson James; siblings Shawn Price (Tammy) and Jane Price; many extended family members and friends. Marvin is preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Price; siblings Will, Jeff and Zachary Price; his parents Marvin and Betty Price. A Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 3711 Tibbatts Street, Latonia, KY 41015 on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Price family.
