Mary Pohlman

Mary Ann Pohlman, 70 of Taylor Mill, Kentucky passed away on December 27, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Kentucky. Mary Ann was born on December 28, 1946 in Elkhart, IN and was adopted, at a young age, by her loving parents Larry and Anna Marie Meyer of Latonia, KY.

Mary Ann married Thomas R. Pohlman on October 24, 1969 at Holy Cross Church in Latonia, KY and they would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary this year. Unfortunately, her loving husband, Thomas preceded her in death on Easter of this year. Mary Ann is also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Vincent.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Jill Teehan Goodale (Larry), John T. (Crystal) Pohlman and Steven L. Pohlman, her granddaughters, Emma & Anna Pohlman as well as loving cousins and friends.

Mary Ann was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #1469 and co-owner of the Huntington Hut in the mid to late 80's. She worked at the original Johnny's Toys on Decoursey Avenue in Latonia, Farrell Gas, Citibank and the Kenton County Courthouse prior to her retirement.

Mary Ann was a committed, loving, supportive & encouraging mother and grandmother. She was generous with what she had and loved to spend time with her family and friends, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. She loved to pamper her granddaughters and continually made them feel special.

She was an avid reader that enjoyed vacationing in Florida with her family, going out to eat and shopping.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4 pm until the Service at 6 pm. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. To leave an online condolence please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
