Marzawilla Marsh

Marzawilla "TT" Marsh, 87, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, passed away on December 27, 2017 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. She was born on June 16, 1930 to the late Willard and Mable Salyers. She married Hobart Marsh on February 6, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Marzawilla was a Kentucky Colonel and she retired from Kenton County Schools where she was a cafeteria manager for Scott High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Marzawilla is survived by her loving daughter Sharon (Thomas) Thackston; granddaughters Candra (Michael) Bryant and Erin (Joshua) Kelley; great grandchildren Lily Kelley, Ella Kelley, Grayson Kelley and Jay Bryant; as well as many other family and friends.
Along with her parents and husband, Marzawilla was preceded in death by her son Hobart Marsh, Jr., sister Mildred Jean Dennis, half sister Shirley Bray and half brother Willy Salyers.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
