Melody Nienaber

Melody Ann Nienaber (Mardis) passed way unexpectedly on June 23, 2018 in her home in Independence, KY at the age of 54 years. She was born April 13, 1964 in Covington, Kentucky. Melody will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Virginia (Walton, KY); her children, Bobbi (Independence, KY), Robby (Independence, KY) and Wendy ( Newport, KY); her brothers, Terry (Independence, KY) and Jeff (Walton, KY), as well as her five step-siblings, Ricky, Rocky and Rusty Mardis, Robin Ping and Rynn Schriber. She will also be forever remembered by her four grandchildren, Cody, Edward, Autumn and Aryana. Melody was preceded in death by her father, George Mardis; daughter, Amanda Cheeks; grandmother, Beulah Mefford; and grandmother and grandfather, Bertha and Pete Mardis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Boone Lake Clubhouse in Walton, KY. Contributions in memory of Melody may be made to her mother, Virginia Mardis; daughter, Bobbi Nienaber; or daughter, Wendy Ward.
