Melvin Conley Thompson

Conley Thompson, 75 of Edgewood, Ky passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 1, 2024. He was passionate about his work with the Kenton County Fiscal Court as Assistant Treasurer under the late Ivan Fry. He finished his career as Inspector with Kenton County over Occupational Licenses. He loved all local sports, Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals but was a huge UK basketball fan. As an avid golfer, he could always remember the course layout as well as how he played the hole. The grandkids and family will never forget the place where he Stashed the Candy for all to enjoy. He was preceded in death by a Son, Todd Conley Thompson, his Dad, Wallace Thompson; Sister, Patsy Mullins and Brothers, Tony Thompson and Roger Thompson. Conley is survived by his Loving Wife of 56 years, Teresa Thompson; Children, Tracy Thompson-Lang and Travis William Thompson; Mother, Geneva Thompson; Grandchildren, Brooks Lang and Brady Lang; Mother-in-Law, Violet Thurmond. A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home (CHAPEL A) from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Service on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11 am in Chapel A. Interment will follow in Turner Ridge Church Cemetery in Falmouth, Ky. Pat Curtis and Rodney Eldridge will conduct the service.
