Michael Fornash

Michael L. Fornash, 66 of Covington, KY passed away on September 28, 2021, at St. Elizabeth HealthCare in Edgewood, KY. He retired from the Postal Service after 30 plus years as a supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst and Helen Fornash.

Michael was a Blessing to anyone who had the honor of knowing him. He loved his God, Family, and Friends. He was a Kind, Giving, Generous, and Selfless person. He loved to Hunt and Golf where he not only shot (3) hole-n-one’s, he even shot (2) Robin Hood’s. He had a great sense of humor, enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and UK Basketball and enjoyed our family gatherings. Our lives have been Blessed by him and his love and he will be extremely missed.

Michael is survived by his Loving Wife of 35 years, Peggy Fornash; Children, Tina Bacon (Brian) and Jessica Fornash (Tajgian Lincoln); Grandchildren, Brayden and Jonathan; and Sister, Patti Oldiges (Tom). A visitation will take place on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11 am until the Service at 1 pm. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 1 Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
