Michael Guilkey

Ret. MSgt. Michael T. Guilkey, 64 of Independence, KY passed away on May 26, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at his home. He Retired as a MSGT after 28 years in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Playing Golf and most of all he adored his Wife and Family. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Franklin Patrick Guilkey and Elaine Owens ; Brothers: Daniel Guilkey and Patrick Guilkey. Michael is survived by his Loving Wife of 46 years, Debra Guilkey; Daughters: Michelle Meadows (Garry), Amy Guilkey, Jennifer Barentine (John) and Maryann Wolfe (Christopher); Brother: Timothy Guilkey; Grandchildren: Amanda Renee, Amanda Jean, Morgan, Allen, Mikayla, Parker, Austin and Gracie; Great Grandchildren: Ava, Emmy and Adrian. The Visitation will be on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY from 10 AM until the Service at 12 PM.
