Michael Herald Sr.

Michael Anthony Herald passed away at his home on December 14, 2020. He was born in Newport, Kentucky on May 18, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Shirley Herald. Michael and his family are longtime residents of Covington, Kentucky. He was a hard worker as a line operator with Signode Corporation for many years. Mike loved to fish and enjoyed gardening of all types; working on his trees and landscaping with beautiful flowers.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Avis Ann Herald, his brother, Dale Herald, and his sister Linda Schraer. He was the father to seven children and was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Michael will always be loved and missed by his seven children: Michael Fultz, Shawn Aeschliman, Raven Aeschliman, Deanna Herald, Michael Herald Jr., Virgil Evans Jr. and Latashia Gegner.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 from 11 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions suggested to Floral Hills Funeral Home to help offset the cost of the Funeral. Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, please practice social distancing and masks are to be worn in the Funeral Home.
