Mildred Gravens

Mildred Gravens, 95, of Ft Wright, Kentucky, passed away on April 24, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband George B. Gravens.
Mildred was the beloved mother of Cheril Hammons of Florence, Elaine (Joe) Dragon of Burlington, Michele Gravens of Edgewood, Chantel (Frank) Heidebrink of Burlington and Daniele (Rich) Perry of Union; loving grandmother to Tammie (Brian), Jaimie (Tip), Dustin (Angela), Michael (Dee), Todd (Liz), Michael, Madeline and Olivia; loving great grandmother to Megan (Ethan), Carey, Cullen, Dylan, Kaylee, Mallory, Emily, Patrick, Ashley, Drew and Chelsea; and loving great great grandmother to Berkley.
Mildred was retired from Shillito's Department Store as a sales associate in the Shoe Department.

Our mom was a beautiful and loving spirit who cared deeply for her family. She most enjoyed family get-togethers and chatting with us about our day. She loved the color purple, playing and singing with her grandkids, travelling, dancing (in her many pairs of shoes!), and at 95, dressed more fashionably than most 20 year olds. Having her in our lives was our privilege and blessing.
We love you, Mom, and don't worry, we'll be careful. Rest in Peace, Mom. a��

Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015 on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 9:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
