Mildred L. (Millie) Muff, 87, passed away on Friday, May 6th at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood.
Beloved wife of 61 years, of the late Lester L. Muff, loving Mother of Lois F.( Jerry) Seifert, of Cincinnati and Live Oak, Florida, Sharon L.(Larry) Smith, of Hebron, Ky., and Ray A. Muff, of Florence, Ky. Sister of Edna L. Preston of California
Proud Grandmother of Amy (Geoff) Booth, Alice Springs, Australia, Lara (Bill) Ingram, of Georgetown, Ky., adoring Great-Grandmother of Caroline Ingram, Grant Ingram, and Wyatt Booth. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews.
Mildred proudly served her country in the Women's Air Core during W.W. II., where she met and married her husband, Lester. She was an active member of Florence Baptist church for 64 years. She was a talented artist who created pieces of art for her church and for the community. For years, she enjoyed belonging to a local Homemaker's club, and working with Girl Scouts and Sunday School classes.
Visitation will be held at Stith Funeral home in Florence on Wed. May, 11 from 10:00a.m. to 12: with the funeral following.
Burial will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Florence Baptist Church
