COVINGTON - Nancy Shorter, 83, died Friday, Aug. 29, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
She was a day care provider for Brighton Center, member of Soul Harbor Pentecostal Church in Burlington and she enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters, Geneva Gowins, Maxine Turpin, Brenda Westheider, Rita Anton, Jean Reihle, Dalphene Willoughby and Bonnie Asic; sister, Maxine Shorter; brothers, Arnold, James and Carlos Combs; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today, Sept. 3, with service following at Soul Harbor Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, is handling arrangements.
