Nellie, 86, of Latonia, passed away 10:45 AM Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Health Care, Edgewood. She was retired from Dillard's Dept. Store in gift wrap. A member of Decoursey Baptist Church she also attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Bill Powers in 1990, she is survived by her daughter Pat Gill of Covington, and son L.B. Powers of Covington; grandchildren Danny Gill, Danielle Stidham, Lisa Adcock, and Jared and Andy Powers and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 AM to 1 PM Tuesday, with funeral services at 1 PM Tuesday all at SWINDLER & CURRIN FUNERAL HOME, 214 West Southern Ave., Latonia. Interment Floral Hills Cemetery.
