Norma Jean Black,
75 of Crescent Springs, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Norma was born in Andyville, Kentucky to the late William and Ann Wathen. She worked in Housekeeping at the Drawbridge Inn for 10 years and then at St. Elizabeth Edgewood for over 12 years. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind: children James W. (Stephanie) Black, Scott A. Black, Steve (Kimberlee) Black, Nancy Black and Katie (Dave) Sumner; grandchildren Jamie, James Jr., Amber, Alex, Allison, Emily, Casey, Makenzee, Savannah, Taylor, Addison, Hunter and Carson; great-grandchildren James III, Bryse, Ryder, Rosalee, and Kinsley; sisters Laverne (Henry) Pike, Linda (Les) Rogers, Judy (Chester) Sipes, Rebecca (Joseph) Yates and Theresa (Wesley) Prather; brothers Anthony (Monica) Wathen, Pat (Paula) Wathen, Tommy (Lisa) Wathen and David Wathen; many extended family members and friends. Norma is preceded in death by her husband James A. Black, sister Martha Ann Stewart and grandchild Alexis. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve Norma’s family.
