Norma Koors

Norma Louise Koors, 83, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on September 27, 2018 at the Baptist Village. Norma was born on April 23, 1935 to the late Benjamin and Olga Otten. On her 18th birthday she married Donald Koors and he survives. Norma was a longtime member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church where she was a cook for the daycare. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers, birds and gospel music. Norma had also been a member of the Pointe Pleasant Homemakers.
Norma is survived by her husband of 65 years; her loving children Donald (Trudy) Koors, Mark (Steve) Koors and Tara Louise Koors; grandchildren Donny Koors, Tammy Gemmer, Desiree Hensley; great grandchildren Shawn Moore, Hannah Taylor, Cody Moore, Ryder Koors, Dixie Hensley, Brilynn Gemmer, Kole Koors, Peyton Gemmer, Jesse Hensley, Jaxon Hensley; sisters Glenna Smith, Myra Vice, Geneva Otten; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her brothers Grover Harmon, Leonard Harmon, Harold Harmon; sisters Dorothy Monohan, Eva Shehan, Ann Vance and Bette Dennison.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11am.
