Norma Jean Owens,
74 of Walton, Kentucky passed away January 27, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Florence, KY. She was a member of the Church of God in Highland Heights and a former employee of Equitable Bag Company. Norma is preceded in death by her husband John F. Owens; daughter Karen Y. German; son in law Tommy Thompson; sister Darlene Cochran; brothers Jimmy and Dickie Prewitt. She is survived by her children Venita (Eric) Jacobsen of Ft. Wright, KY and John (Deborah) Owens of Taylor Mill, KY; step son Talvin Cornell of Pennsylvania; grandchildren Tasha, Nyoka, Mark, Mandy, JD, Beth and Travis; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brothers Dan R. Prewitt and James C. Prewitt. Memorials suggested to the Church of God, Banklick Street, Covington, KY. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10am until time of Funeral Service 1pm. Interment will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
