Otto Reuer

Otto Reuer, 91, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, passed away on May 2, 2018 at Coldspring Transitional Care. Otto was born on August 29, 1926 to the late Jacob and Lydia Reuer. On December 31, 1945 he married Dorothy Casey, and she preceded him in death on December 7, 2010. Otto served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and making airplanes out of soda cans. In his younger days he loved drag racing.
Otto is survived by his loving daughters Connie (Luke) Bezold of Ft Thomas, Kentucky and Betty Ann (Richard) Dailey of Delmar, Maryland; grandchildren Dax T. Games, M. Scott Games, Casey M. Givens, R. Chad Dailey; great grandchildren Samantha P. Games, Olivia A. Games, Chelsey Givens, Caden Givens, Chase Givens, Colby Dailey, Chloe Dailey; brother Jake Reuer; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Otto is preceded in death by his sister Esther Olson and brother John Reuer.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
