Paul Luther Dalton, Sr.

Paul Luther Dalton, Sr., age 75, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, with his loved ones by his side. 

Paul was born on September 21, 1948, in Covington, KY to the late Luther B. & Mary Elizabeth (nee Fortner) Dalton. He was a 1966 graduate from Boone Co. High School and went on to work 43 years as a railroad engineer until his retirement in 2009. Paul had many joys and passions in life including cheering on the Reds, a good old western movie, spending time in his barn, but most importantly, Paul was the truest form of a outdoorsmen. All who knew Paul would describe him as a kind and caring, faithful man who was not only devoted to his family, but to his community of friends around him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray Dalton. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Margaret Ann Dalton; children: Paul L. (Maria) Dalton, Jr, Michael L. (Debora) Dalton and Dennis W. (Jennifer) Dalton; grandchildren: Austin, Grant, Destiny, Margaret, Emma, Alison, Timothy, Sierra and Noah; great-grandchildren: Raleigh, Miya, Natalie, Henry and Tay; brothers: Phillip (Pam) Dalton, Randy (Vicky) Dalton, Michael Dalton and Ricky Dalton; sisters: Peggy (Myron) Thornberry, Vanessa Ruth (Terri) Dalton and Theresa (Bruce) Sorrell; his furry faithful companion, Baby and numerus other family members and friends. 

Family will greet friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home- Chapel A, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY with a memorial to follow at the funeral home.
