Pearl Smith, 79, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away on November 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 23, 1938 to the late Theo and Ellen White. On June 28, 1967 Pearl married Lenzie Smith, who survives.
Pearl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her selfless way of living will always be remembered by everyone who knew her. Pearl was an amazing cook and one of her greatest joys was cooking for her family. She was a care giver to all those she met and she never met a stranger. Pearl was a collector of glass and roosters, which her family will treasure. She enjoyed both reading and gardening. Pearl's absence will be felt by many.
Pearl is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Lenzie; children Donna (Donnie) White Jackson, Francena Smith, Carl David Smith, and Lenzie "Dale" (Mandy) Smith; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother Ralph "Bill" White; sister Callie Reynolds; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her mother and father in law Chester and Florence Smith; brothers PJ White, Joe White, John "Bus" White and Charlie White; and sisters Eddie Smith, Mamie Crawford and Paralee Creech.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 12 pm. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
