Phyllis Jennings

Phyllis Ann Jennings, 79, of Covington, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood.  She was born February 1, 1942, a daughter of the late Benjamin Day and Mamie Schottenberger Day.  She was married to Chase Jennings August 21, 1970, who survives.  Also surviving are one son, Jeff Jennings, 3 stepchildren, Jessie Kerns, Troy and Mark Jennings; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 6 cousins.  Phyllis was Secretary at Southside Baptist for many years, President of the Bluegrass Bus and Ambulance Sales for 27 years, and retired from Holmes High School as Secretary.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2021, at Floral Hills Funeral Home where friends may call Monday from 11-1PM.  Burial will follow at Peach Grove Cemetery.
