Richard Bowman

Richard Bowman, 65, of Lakeside Park, Kentucky passed away on August 8, 2017 at St Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. Richard was born on January 31, 1952 to the late Henry and Betty Bowman. He married Amy Burgan on August 4, 1985.
Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years; his sons Chris Burgan, Brian Bowman and Josh (Dawn) Burgan; brother Larry Bowman; sisters Ruth Pelfrey, Linda Dearing, and Darlene Mason; grandson Judah Burgan; granddaughter Rowan Burgan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Richard loved camping at the Red River Gorge.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Following the service, a reception for family and friends will be held at the Covington Fire Fighters Union Hall, 2232 Howe Street, Peaselburg, Kentucky.
