Richard Derickson

Richard Hayden Derickson, 88 of Ryland Heights, KY passed away on November 10, 2015 at Rosedale Green Nursing Home. He retired after 30 plus years with Otis Elevator, member of Latonia Masonic Lodge #746 F.&A.M., Scottish Rite, Kentucky Colonel, An avid Golfer and the former resident Golf Pro at Ryland Lakes Country Club, he was an Outdoorsman and he was inducted into the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. He was in the United States Marine Corps during W.W.II . Richard was preceded in death by his Wife, Mabel Deatherage Derickson. He is survived by his Daughter: Jennifer Silva (John); Sons: Rusty Derickson (Pat), Shaler Derickson (Karen) and Jonathan Derickson; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren and a Nephew: Richard Bryant. The Visitation will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 10 AM until the Service at 11 AM. An Honor Guard Service and Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials to: American Cancer Society.
