Richard W. Krechting, 82, of Phoenix, AZ and formerly of Newport, KY, passed away on March 17th at Glencroft Care Center, Glendale, AZ. He was retired from Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co and a proud Army Veteran. Richard is survived by his wife, Emeline of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Kathy of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jami, Jeremy (Dora), also of Phoenix, AZ and Garry Strange (Florence, KY). He is survived by great grandsons, Jacob Richard Adson and Michael Garrett Strange (Florence, KY) as well as his sister, Carolyn Freudenberg of Newport, KY. Visitation 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the funeral ceremony to follow, on Thursday, March 24th at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport, KY. Burial will take place in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials are suggested to be sent to Hospice of the Valley - Fund Development 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
