Richard Gordon Reeves

Richard Gordon “Dick” Reeves passed away peacefully on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2023 at Western State Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville, KY at the glorious age of 84. He was born in Covington, KY on December 6, 1939, the son of the late Claude and Emma Reeves. Preceding Dick in death were his parents and two sons, Brian Reeves and Kent Reeves. Those left surviving to carry on Dick’s memory include his loving daughter, Cindy Kunkel; grandsons, Ryan Wingate, Kyle Reevs, Tyler Reeves and River Reeves; granddaughters, Robin Kunkel and Rayna Smith; great-granddaughter, Celia Smith; as well as many other close relatives and friends. Dick will be laid to rest at the convenience of the family at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A memorial service celebrating Dick’s life will be held at a later date.
