COVINGTON - Richard C. "Smitty" Smith, 74, died Tuesday, July 6, at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood.
He was an electrician for I.B.E.W. Union Local 212 in Cincinnati and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Harris Smith; sons, Anthony Smith of Fort Mitchell, Andrew and Steven Smith of Covington, Alex Smith of Elsmere, and Douglas Noel of Florence; sister, Mary Vagedes of Elsmere; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, with service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
