It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rick and Marsha Iseral, a beloved couple who were childhood sweethearts and were married for 48 years, entered into rest together on Thursday, July 11, 2024, both at the age of 71.
Rick Iseral was born on March 2, 1953, in Taylor Mill, KY, the son of the late Harold and Lora Jean Iseral. From a young age, Rick was enamored with model trains. As a dedicated model train enthusiast, Rick filled his basement with an impressive collection of model trains that reflected his passion and meticulous nature. His intricate setups and detailed replicas brought joy to those who shared his interest and showcased his dedication to this beloved hobby. In his spare time, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Marsha Iseral was born on July 8, 1953, in Independence, KY, the daughter of the late James and Alma Baldwin. Marsha was an avid antique collector whose love for history and unique treasures was evident in her carefully curated collection. She enjoyed spending her days reading and watching QVC, where she found many of her cherished items. Her eye for beauty and her appreciation for the past were evident in everything she did.
Together, Rick and Marsha had many great loves. They shared a love for camping and spent many happy times exploring the United States, creating lasting memories on their adventures. Their love for each other and their shared interests created a bond that was admired by all who knew them. Their greatest joy, however, came from spending time with their family, especially their grandchildren, who brought nothing but joy to their lives.
Preceding Rick and Marsha in death were both of their parents, James and Alma Baldwin and Herald and Lora Jean Iseral.
Those left surviving to carry on the memory of Rick and Marsha are their two sons, Andrew (Amy) Iseral and Brett (Jamie) Iseral; five grandchildren, Allie, Adelaide, Zoe, Ashton and Skylar; Marsha’s sister, Virginia (Gordon) Bryson; as well as many other relatives and friends who are now emptier upon their sudden passing.
The Iseral family will hold private services at their convenience to honor Rick and Marsha's memory. Both will be united and laid to rest together at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
Their presence will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing them. To leave a condolence message for the family or to share a fond memory of Rick and Marsha, please click on the corresponding tabs on this page.
