Ricky Bruce Lunsford, Sr., a beloved husband, father, friend, and mentor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his home in Littleton, Colorado. Surrounded by his loving family, Ricky’s passing marks the end of a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

Born to Roberta and Coleman Lunsford, both of whom preceded him in death, Ricky leaves behind his devoted wife, Pam; his two children, Kerri and Ricky Jr.; as well as many other relatives and friends who are now emptier upon his passing. His legacy is one of unwavering love and commitment to his family.

Ricky was a man of profound faith and boundless energy. As a devoted Christian, he lived his life with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of kindness. His passion for sports, particularly his unwavering support for the Denver Broncos, was a defining part of his life, bringing joy and camaraderie to those around him.

Above all, Ricky was known for being a great husband, father, friend, and mentor. His ability to connect with and inspire those he met was a testament to his generous spirit and genuine care for others. Whether through his roles as a mentor or simply as a friend, Ricky’s impact was felt far and wide.

A celebration of Ricky’s life will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Ricky will then be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
