Robert B Elam

Robert B. Elam, 86, of Covington, died Monday, November 28, 2022, at home.  He was born January 11. 1936, in Covington, a son of the late John T. and Alice Campbell Elam.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard D. (Alice) and Allen C. (his identical twin) (Sue).  He has one surviving sister, June Holtkamp (Harry).  He was an Army Veteran, retired from General Electric and a retired Police Officer for the city of Fort Wright.  He was a member of the Gateway 109 Masonic Lodge and was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce A. Meadows Elam; his five children, James Elam (Kimberly); Roger Elam; Barb Peters (Mike); Teresa Evans (Kerry); and Richard Elam (Amy).  He has six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, where visitation will be held from 11-1PM, with Masonic services held at 12:45 PM.  Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation (kidneyfoundation.org).
