Independence – “The Legendary” Robert J. “Bob” Niehaus Jr. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 13, 2021 at the age of 57. Bob had a successful career with O’Charley’s Restaurant for many years serving as G.M. He enjoyed a variety of activities in his free time including fishing, baseball, music, and tracking the stock market with family. Bob was an extremely talented craftsman that could fix or build literally anything. He cherished his family most of all, family was his entire world. Bob will be missed by all of his family and friends that loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Niehaus (Rouse); children, Heather Renee Niehaus (Dustin), Robert J. Niehaus III (Beth), and Katelynd Marie Niehaus; granddaughter, Avery Platt; mother, Wanda Daly; and siblings, Eric Niehaus, Mary Niehaus Ralles, and Brian Niehaus. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Niehaus Sr. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 12 pm, all at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, KY. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
