FLORENCE - Ronald E. Close, 64, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. He was a mechanic for Johnson Controls in Florence and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Close of Florence; son, David Close of Florence; parents, Leslie and Gene Scroggins of Williamstown; brothers, Garry Close of Plainfield, Ind. and Mark Scroggins of West Carrollton, Ohio; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, with service following at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
