Ronald Joseph “Radi” Radenheimer, 76, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away suddenly Friday, December 6, 2024, at The Christ Hospital of Cincinnati. He is survived by his “best friend” and loving wife of eleven years, Patricia Rohrer Radenheimer; his beloved daughters, Rachael (John) Hussong and Raegan (Danny) Hanlon; three treasured grandchildren, Harrison, Noah and Arya; his “favorite” sister Barb (Ken) Lemberg, and many other devoted family members.
Ron was born July 31, 1948, in Covington, KY, the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Reaker Radenheimer. A devoted family man, he will be remembered for being quick to laugh and quick to lend a hand.
Ron was also known for his love of the game of football. He played the sport while growing up and then went on to coach, while also teaching, at Conner High School (Hebron, KY); Newport (KY) High School; and Wyoming (OH) High School.
A skilled electrician, Ron owned 4R Electric, primarily serving the residential market.
In years past, Ron was an avid motorcyclist and could often be seen hitting the roads on Sunday afternoons with his buddies. In later years, he directed a love for old cars to his 1968 blue Ford Mustang convertible. But surely his biggest passion was for the game of golf –– one wall in his family room is filled with golf balls from the myriad courses he played over the years.
Ron loved the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Xavier Musketeers, the basketball team of his alma mater. He often could be found in the stands rooting for his home teams.
Ron also enjoyed traveling. Last year, he and his wife toured Europe, which included a visit to the beaches of Normandy, a life-long dream of his.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6 PM, Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 11 Temple Place, Southgate, KY.
