INDEPENDENCE - Rose "Rosie" Reams Cox, 76, died Saturday April 26 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
She was a housekeeper for St. Luke Hospital, Florence, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Golden Tower, Covington. She was a seamstress for Safeguard Co., Feitchmer's Clothing, Cincinnati, a laborer for Overhead Door Co., Covington, member of Decoursey Baptist Church, Covington, and enjoyed automobile racing and bowling.
Her husband, Homer Cox, died in 1965.
Survivors include her son; Howard Cox; daughters, Kathy Reams, Beverly Bowman, Lisa Rudde and Teresa Russell; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday April 30 and service will be at noon Thursday May 1 at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
