Ruth Eileen Racke

Ruth Eileen (Riesz) Racke, 91, of Fort Wright, Kentucky, formerly of Cold Spring, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023, in Fort Wright, Kentucky.  Ruth was born on April 1, 1932, in Newport, Kentucky.  She was a homemaker.  Ruth was the devoted mother of Donna (John) Wegener, Linda (Doug) Clemons, and the late Kenneth Racke.  She was the grandmother of Kristina (Manish Gupta) Wegener, Michael (Ella Yang) Wegener, Lori Clemons, and Suzie (Mike) Landgraf and the great grandmother of Henry Landgraf, Johnathan Gupta, and Michael Gupta.  Preceding her in death was her loving husband Albert John Racke, her parents Frederick and Amanda (Lampe) Riesz, her brother Frederick (Rita) Riesz, and her sister Ethel (Eugene “Huey”) Wright. Visitation will be from ten a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky, with services beginning at noon.  Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood, Kentucky  41017.
