Shirley Beagle

Shirley Mae Strause, age 76, of Taylor Mill, died Tuesday at her residence. Mrs. Beagle was a retired waitress for the Green Lantern Restaurant, a member of the Piner Christian Church, and the Taylor Mill Moose Lodge. Her hobbies included fishing boating, cooking for her family, and playing euchre with friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Beagle, Jr., sister, Lillian Justice, and brother, Wilbur Strause. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Carolan of Independence and Linda Whitehead of Brooksville, KY; sons, Alan W. Beagle of Latonia and Jeffrey L. Beagle of Independence; (8) grandchildren and (5) great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society
