81, of Florence, passed away October 23, 2011 at her residence. She attended Simmons College, Graduated from Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing. Was an American Red Cross volunteer nurse during the polio epidemics of the 1950's Born Sep 2, 1930 in New London Connecticut daughter of Maxwell E Foskett and Lillian Felecia Ross moved to New Hampshire 1944 graduated from Franklin HS Franklin NH. Married William Ferry 1955 Pembroke, NH moved to Kentucky. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband William. She is survived by her sons Mark (Bobbie) Ferry, Stephen Ferry; grandchildren Lauren, Miranda, Nicole, Adam, David and Justin; great grandchildren Hunter, Haylie, Trevor, Harper Jo and Macie; brother George M Foskett and her beloved cat Ky. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1:30 pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
