Stephen “Steve” Cummins

Taylor Mill – Passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021 at the age of 74. Steve was a loving husband, devoted father, and man of faith. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. For many years, Steve was a tour guide for the Garden of Hope, which was very near and dear to him. He was also a very talented volunteer for Lifeline Ministries where he counseled and prayed with many that called for guidance. Steve and his wife, Cathy, were longtime members of Crescent Springs Baptist Church. He was also an avid sports fan and enthusiastically cheered on his Alma Mater, Holmes High School at basketball and football games. Steve was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Steve is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cathy Cummins (Crouch); sons, Steven (Carrie) Cummins and Travis Cummins; grandchildren, Adreanna, Steven, Jason, and Cooper Cummins; great-grandson, Noah Horn; sister, Angela Green; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Andrew, Laura, and Lynsey. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Kirk and his parents, Charles Cummins and Myrtle Kirk.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 9 am until the Funeral Service at 12 pm, all at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services and military honors will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made in Steve’s name to the Garden of Hope, 699 Edgecliff St. Covington, KY 41014.
