Thomas Charles, beloved husband of Joan Helen Barrett Kennedy for 50 years, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 11th at Saint Elizabeth at 10:15pm. He was 71 years old and lived in Villa Hills, KY. He was a retired mechanic from Federal Express and a member of Crescent Springs Baptist Church for 43 years. He served the Lord as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. Born in London, KY, he was the son of Joe & Ida Kennedy and the brother of 10 siblings: William Earl Kennedy, Joe Robert Kennedy of Ft Wright, KY, Ruth Ann (Sally) Pruitt of London, KY, all deceased; John Milton Kennedy of London, KY, Helen Rese Whitaker of Avon, IN, Carl Wayne Kennedy of London, KY, Margaret Faye Settles of Bradenton, FL, Mary Elaine Abbott of London, KY, James Finley Kennedy of London, KY, and Vernon Eugene (Gene) Kennedy of London, KY. Tom was the loving father of 2 daughters, Stacy Anne (Robin) Brunker of Hebron, KY and Susan Willette (John) Hale of Erlanger, KY. He was a favored Papaw of Aubry Elaine Brunker, Caleb Michael Allan Brunker and Kailyn Grace Hale. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Homes, Elsmere, and a visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 - 12:00 PM at Crescent Spring Baptist Church with Funeral Service Following at 12:00 PM.
