Tom Jett,

Of Latonia, Kentucky or as Tom would say “Upper Taylor Mill” passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at UC Medical Center. Tom was born in 1950 to the late Robert and Mary June Jett.  He was an avid UK Basketball fan, enjoyed gardening, vacationing at Daytona Beach and was known to be a collector of things. After 32 years Tom retired from CSX Transportation. Tom loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Cindy Jones Jett; children Tommy (Tammy) Jett, Taisha (Robert) Fike and Johnny Johnson; step children Jeremy (Kelly) Jones and Jessica (Jacob) Schneider; grandchildren Tyler, Jake, Alex, Tyler, Hannah and Grant; siblings Terry Webster, Timmy Jett, Nancy Switzer, Donna K. Foree, Pat Jett, Becky Jett, Patty Kissinger, Pam Jett O’Rouke, Kelly Jett and Kenny Jett; many extended family and friends. Along with his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his siblings Mike Jett, Bobby Jett, Cathy Moore, Bobby Roaden and Marietta Roberts. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the Edgewood Senior Center, 550 Freedom Park Drive, Edgewood, Kentucky, 41017 from 4pm until time of Memorial Service at 6pm. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family. Memorial contributions suggested to a charity of your choice.
