He was a member of the Reserve Officers Training Corps.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn A. Buxton of Covington; stepfather, James K. Wainscott of Wilder; sister, Laura B. Buxton of Oklahoma City, Okla.; brothers, Dylan Buxton off Oklahoma City, Okla. and James K. Buxton of Wilder; grandmother, Karen Gridler, of Covington; and grandfather, Donald Nukman of Wilder.
Burial was in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, handled the arrangements.
