Verdie M. Brewer, 71, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at his home.
He was an assembler for General Motors, Army veteran, member of New Life Tabernacle in Hebron and he enjoyed softball and repairing televisions.
Survivors include his wife, Kathern J. Brewer; daughter, Mary Brewer of Covington; son, Timothy Brewer of Independence; sisters, Thelma Cope of Booneville, Fairlean Arrowwood of Seymour, Ind. and Fannie Ervin of Newport; brothers, James, William and Fred Brewer all of West Port, Ind.; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan 2, and service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
