Verna was a strong-willed, hard working, independent woman. She was retired from the Environmental Protection Agency after 31 years of service. She also did work for Avis Car Rental afterwards. She loved to do volunteer work for "Be Concerned", and especially for "The Friends of the Kenton County Library". She loved to dance, play the piano, which she was very good at both, also loved to travel, and that she did.
She was a former President of N.A.R.F.E. (National Association of Retired Federal Employees), a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Taylor Mill. Mom was also an animal lover, her kittie cats and, yes, our Kentucky Wildcats. The world lost a great woman on that day, one that will be deeply missed by family and friends.
