Vernon Jay Blum, 63, died Tuesday, July 14, at his home.
He worked for 42 years with ADT Security, Inc. and was a member of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky F. & A.M. Henry Barnes in Dayton.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Wilburn Blum; son, Gary Sterling; sisters, Betty Seyberth and Beverly Sheridan; brother, Elmer F. Blum Jr.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 17, with service at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Floral Hills Funeral Home of Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
