Victoria E. “Vicki” Wagner

Newport – Passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the age of 49. Vicki participated in the Special Olympics for 37 years, where she engaged in every sport possible. She went to 2 World Games of the Special Olympics, winning a gold medal in the 50-meter dash. Vicki was a major sports fan that cheered on the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. She was also an avid bingo player and enjoyed bowling. Vicki was a cherished daughter, cousin, niece and friend to many. She is survived by her loving parents, Timothy and Deborah Wagner; loving godfather, Earl Sullivan; uncles, Mike (Donna) Wagner, James (Vicky) Wagner; special cousin who was more like a sister, Erin (Mike) Sebastian; and many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Elizabeth Wagner and maternal grandparents, Marvin and Mary Godsey. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9 am until the Funeral Service at 12 pm, all at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, KY. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vicki’s name to Special Olympics of Northern Kentucky, PO Box 393, Florence, KY 41042.
