Willa Talbot

Willa Margaret Talbot, 94, of Scottsdale, Arizona (formerly of Taylor Mill, Kentucky) passed away on June 1, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Nellie Whitaker. On July 8, 1944 she married Leslie Allen Talbot, who preceded her in death in 1995.
Willa was a member of Latonia Baptist Church where she maintained her membership even after moving to Arizona. When her children were younger she was active in the school as the PTA president. After her children went to school, she worked at Pogue's in Cincinnati. Willa lived a full life and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Willa is survived by her children Deborah (Russ) Moak of Scottsdale, Arizona and James (Brenda) Talbot of Melbourne, Florida; granddaughter Lesley Moak Ray; great granddaughter Savannah Moak; niece Janice O'Neal of Raleigh, North Carolina; nephews Dudley Whitaker of Franklinton, North Carolina, Ben Whitaker of Cary, North Carolina and Dan Whitaker of Berry, Kentucky.
Along with her parents and husband, Willa was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Talbot.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in Willa's name.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 11am. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. To leave online condolences please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
