Willard "Bill" D. Nicewonder, age 93 of Independence, passed away Sunday 7/24/11 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood. A retired welder/construction worker, he was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 392 and enjoyed carpentry and working with wood. Preceded in death by wives Dorothy and Crystal Nicewonder. Survived by daughters Patricia Osborne, Marlene Faulkner, and Dona-Lea Harmon, sons Mark Nicewonder, Mike Nicewonder and Floyd Gibson, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10-12 pm. Funeral service will be at 12 pm. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
